The C16767MA is a newly lined up mini-spectrometer that employs a CMOS image sensor, in which the slit is integrated by the etching technology, as well as a reflective concave surface grating made by nanoimprint lithography. The C16767MA is equipped with an image sensor with enhanced UV resistance and a diffraction grating optimized for UV diffraction.

In addition, a stray light cut filter, made with our unique opto-semiconductor manufacturing technique, is formed on the image sensor in order to restrain the stray light generated during diffraction from entering into the image sensor.

Measurement examples

The left diagram shows measurement examples of nitric acid, nitrous acid, and BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), which are generally examined in water analysis. It can be understood that favorable results are obtained in the measurement with a demonstration module utilizing C16767MA. In the measurement of organic compound, anthracene, the results equivalent to the table size spectrophotometer is obtained as shown in the middle and right diagrams.
