We are a group of makers who like to "have a little fun and save the world while we're at it" by developing open source engineering tools for Biomedical Engineering Education. We were founded on December 16, 2016 by Orlando Hoilett, a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University (B.E. Vanderbilt University 2014). We started out of the desire to enhance the educational experience of undergraduate Biomedical Engineering students while at the same time introducing biosensing to the maker and educational communities. Not only do we focus on developing quality products, but also quality tutorials that clearly explain the biological and engineering principles behind our designs. It is our desire that students as young as elementary school will be able to use our tutorials and products to develop their engineering skills.
