Can a FLIR PTU be aimed using geodetic or GPS position?

The geo pointing module (GPM) feature is built in to all E Series pan tilt units (PTUs) and also the E46. Calibrating the GPM is done by entering the current GPS location of the PTU, then pointing at known landmarks. The PTU will then be able to calculate the heading.

Once the calibration is done, this feature can be used to point at a target in GPS coordinates of latitude, longitude, and altitude.

Refer to Section 17 of the Command Reference Manual for more information.
