FLIR Lepton 3.1R

Teledyne FLIR has introduced the highly anticipated Lepton 3.1R, the world's first radiometric thermal camera module with a 95-degree field of view, 160 x 120 resolution, and a scene dynamic range of up to 400 degrees Celsius. This new model, Lepton 3.1R, maintains the compact and low-power design that has made the Lepton family of thermal camera modules extremely popular for mobile devices, small electronics, and unmanned systems.

The Lepton 3.1R is designed as a seamless upgrade for existing Lepton-based products, incorporating the same visual object and space perception interface (VoSPI), inter-integrated circuit (I2C), and maintaining the previous Leptons' electrical and mechanical compatibility. Furthermore, it remains the most affordable focal plane array (FPA) based thermal sensor available on the market.

 

PureThermal 3

PureThermal 3 (PT3) is a hackable thermal webcam for the FLIR Lepton (2.x - 3.x and FS) LWIR camera core.

PureThermal Micro Breakout Board

The PureThermal Micro Breakout Board is an ultra-compact module designed for easy interfacing with FLIR's Lepton thermal imaging sensors. It can be soldered onto a PCB using the castellated breakout or connect it via a 10-pin flat flexible cable (FFC) or flexible printed circuit (FPC) to communicate with the Lepton via I2C and VoSPI. This module takes care of the Lepton voltage supplies and 25MHz master clock, simplifying the integration process for designers.
